Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully, as they set out the basis on which The Beetson Hotel accepts bookings. By making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
The Beetson Hotel reserves the right to update, change, or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice. Updates take effect immediately once published on our website. Guests are encouraged to review these Terms & Conditions periodically.
If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, you must not use this website or proceed with any reservation.

2. Definitions
- “We”, “our”, “us”, “Hotel” refers to The Beetson Hotel and its operating entity.
- “You” and “your” refers to any guest, visitor, website user, or person making a reservation at The Beetson Hotel.
- “Website” refers to the official website of The Beetson Hotel and its associated booking platforms.
3. Reservations
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
- A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation.
- The Hotel reserves the right to cancel or refuse a booking at its sole discretion.
- Booking terms (including cancellation policies and prepayment requirements) vary depending on the rate plan, package, or promotion selected.
4. Payments, Bonds & Deposits
- Payment must be made in accordance with the terms provided at booking.
- Certain rates may require prepayment at the time of booking, which will be specified in your confirmation.
- The Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise a credit card prior to arrival.
- A minimum $200 bond is mandatory for all non-corporate guests, payable at check-in. This bond will be refunded upon departure, subject to room inspection and settlement of any outstanding charges.
- Any additional charges (incidentals, damages, rollaway beds, late check-out fees, parking, etc.) will be charged to the credit card provided unless otherwise arranged.
5. Cancellations, Amendments & No-Shows
- Cancellation and amendment policies vary depending on the rate booked. Please refer to your confirmation details.
- Standard Policy: Cancellations received within 24 hours of arrival will incur a fee equivalent to one night’s accommodation unless otherwise stated.
- Non-Refundable Rates: Full prepayment is required, and these bookings cannot be cancelled, amended, or refunded.
- Failure to arrive (no-show) will incur a cancellation fee equal to the first night’s accommodation unless otherwise stated.
6. Check-In & Check-Out
- Direct Booking check-in: 2:00 PM
- Direct Booking check-out: 11:00 AM
- Third Party Booking Check-in: 3:00 PM
- Third Party Booking Check-out: 10:00 AM
- Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, is subject to availability, and additional fees.
- A valid government-issued photo ID and credit card are required upon check-in.
- Late check-out without permission may incur a full night’s charge if the room has not been vacated by 12:00 PM.
7. Room Occupancy & Extra Bedding
- Paddington Rooms, Paddington Deluxe, and Executive Suites may accommodate a maximum of 3 adults.
- Rollaway beds are available for an additional fee of $60 per night, subject to availability.
- Occupancy limits must not be exceeded. The Hotel reserves the right to refuse service or cancel a booking where occupancy rules are breached.
8. Parking
- Onsite parking is available at a rate of $35 per night, limited to one car space per reservation.
- Parking is strictly subject to availability and is not guaranteed.
- The Hotel does not accept visitor parking requests.
9. Security & Visitor Policy
- For guest safety, lobby doors are locked from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM daily. Guests will require their room key for access.
- All visitors must be signed in and always accompanied by a registered guest.
- Visitors must vacate by 10:00 PM.
- Failure to comply may result in removal of visitors from the premises, and external enforcement may be required if necessary.
10. Guest Responsibilities
- Guests must comply with all hotel rules, policies, and lawful instructions of staff.
- Guests are responsible for their own behaviour and for ensuring that their conduct does not disrupt the comfort and safety of others.
- Smoking is prohibited in all rooms and indoor public areas. Fees apply for violations.
- Guests are liable for any loss, damage, or theft caused to hotel property during their stay.
11. Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Beetson Hotel shall not be liable for loss, damage, injury, delay, or additional expense incurred by guests arising from events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or accidents.
- Guests are advised to secure valuables in the in-room safe or at reception. The Hotel is not liable for loss of personal property.
12. Privacy & Data
- The Hotel collects and uses personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
- Credit card details are processed securely and stored in compliance with Australian privacy and data protection laws.
- By making a booking, you consent to the Hotel’s use of your personal data for reservation, payment processing, and guest service purposes.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
